“Volleyball has provided me with numerous extraordinary opportunities. I have been extremely fortunate to play volleyball at nearly every competitive level including high school, club, USport, and National Team. Through these experiences I have travelled the world, met thousands of people and above all learned so much about myself and my capabilities. Simply put, this all began with Elite West and the amazing people who represent it - Brad Kilb, Bonnie Macrea-Kilb, Fraser Macleod, Florine Crancium and many others. Long story short, the individuals I mentioned above have ultimately made this dream of a volleyball career possible. Apart from my parents, I can say without a doubt that these individuals have made some of the most significant and meaningful contributions to my life. Beyond their direct contributions, they have also connected me with several individuals who have and continue to impact my life in remarkable ways. Their belief in me as a person and athlete provided me with the confidence and determination to persevere, compete and in most peoples opinions overachieve in the sport of volleyball. These people and this club have developed a best in class culture, incomparable to any other club I have ever been associated with. This club and their coaches are focussed on building good people with character, morals and accountability. The life lessons I learned from these coaches during the critical personal growth period of 15-18 years old have been invaluable in my development as an athlete, coach, leader, teammate, academic and human being."
