Practice Facility

Practices take place at École Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys (SMB), located on 4700 Richard Road SW. We have been at this same facility for over15 years.

At SMB, we have the ability to run three courts, allowing us to work on specific individual skills in small groups, before we move to full court to conduct team drills. This allows us to maximize our players’ contacts, and accelerate them on their path to 10,000 reps and beyond.

Practice Schedule

Our practice times are set and consistently held on weekdays so we never have to miss practices for competitions.

Club Fees

Fees are set each year by the Club Executive Board based on total costs and funds raised through AGLC Casino. Club fees are in the range of $3000 - $3500 per year.

Elite West club fee covers the cost of:

Training (training facility rental, volleyballs, specialized volleyball equipment, coaching honoraria)
Athletic medical supplies and team first aid kit supplies
Team uniforms (competition uniforms, practice shirts, team hoodie/sweatpants, back pack)
Competitions (tournament fees, coaching staff expenses, accommodations and meals for players and coaches for out of town AVA tournaments)

Note that transportation costs to the tournaments are extra (AVA tournaments may be held in Red Deer or Edmonton).

Ankle protection braces and kneepads are mandatory; it is the responsibility of the athlete to acquire these items.
